I am an Industrial Designer interested in the use of technology in our daily life—both in conscious and background computing. I am constantly experimenting and learning about new techniques and technologies to improve my process, and share my findings with others. I strive to be a well-rounded designer: having the necessary skillset to be able to take ideas and bring them to a final product.
I conduct research in an effort to understand the needs of the Ryobi and Ridgid power tool users. I then take that information and brainstorm, ideate, and build functional prototypes of new potential power tools addressing the user's desires.
I attended Georgia Tech and recieved a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design. During my time there I spent a year studying abroad at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.
Fab Academy was taught by Professor Neil Gernshenfeld, the director of MIT's Center for Bits and Atoms. This program taught me about digital fabrication methods as well as circuit design and programming.
